Nature Photography by John Stuart-Clarke

I’m a nature photographer living amongst the beautiful downlands of Southern Oxfordshire. My local area is not an obvious nature photography hotspot: but if you scratch the surface of the Oxfordshire countryside, there’s much more to it than at first meets the eye. I love British wildlife and countryside scenes, so I spend much of my time visiting far-flung parts of the UK, in search of inspiration. And I sometimes venture further afield, to Finland and Florida.

Like many of you, I have a day job which is far removed from my passions, namely my beautiful wife, our dog and the wonderful art of nature photography. It took me a long time to tune in to the natural world and my interest in nature photography only began in 2006. But now I plan to make up for lost time.

If you want to accompany me on my personal journey through nature, or you’re passionate about nature photography from either side of the camera, you’re very welcome to to join me. If you like something you see here, tell your friends; help me to spread the word about our wondrous, natural world and the simple beauty of the still image.
